Donegal goalkeeper Paul Durcan says relegation to Division Two is "extremely disappointing".
Paul Mannion's late leveller in Ballybofey on Sunday consigned the All-Ireland champions to the drop and the All Star 'keeper is not impressed:
"It's extremely disappointing and it would have been nice to have won to stay up, especially after the way we played," he told The Irish Daily Star.
"I think that was our best performance of the campaign and to lose out in the manner we did is extremely disappointing, to end up without the result that we needed.
"I suppose that is what makes the result and the outcome all the harder to take.
"The positive thing to come out of it was that we played well and it is encouraging that we've put in a good performance as we're preparing for the championship.
"You have to give credit to Dublin. They were at our heels all the time and they took their chances when it mattered.
"We didn't do that and we've paid a heavy price for it now. The draw wasn't good enough for us, unfortunately."
