Donegal midfielder Jason McGee looks set to miss out on the Ulster champions’ National League campaign as he undergoes hip surgery.
The Cloughaneely clubman will have the procedure in Coventry today and is facing up to six months on the sidelines in his recovery.
It is understood that McGee will now be targeting a return for the Tir Chonaill men next summer when they open championship campaign against Tyrone in the Ulster SFC quarter-finals.
