Michael Murphy says Donegal can’t afford to take their eye off the ball in the Ulster SFC final.

The holders are favourites to see off Cavan on Sunday week following their impressive semi-final victory over Tyrone but 2012 All-Ireland winning captain Murphy knows from previous experience that they can’t take anything for granted against a strong Breffni side:

“I know from the pathway they have come through they will be confident, too,” the gaa.ie Footballer of the Week told The Irish Daily Star. “Cavan are a Division One side and it’s vitally important we regroup and push on. And I think we will.

“I remember 2016 we had a big win in the semi-final over Monaghan and it counted for nothing when we went into the final and got beat. We have to make sure we follow this up.”
