Senior Men

Congratulations to the senior men on winning the Junior A Championship with an outstanding 4:09 to 0:5 victory over Urris on Saturday evening. This was a exceptional team performance, with every player giving there all from the very first whistle never giving Urris a chance to settle into the game. This is a brilliant achievement for this group of players and management team who put in massive work since the start of the year and are now starting to reap the rewards bringing home the club’s first adult championship in 37 years. The boys now face Con MaGee’s Glenravel in the Ulster Junior Club Championship away this Saturday in Antrim, hopefully this will be the start of another adventure for them, all support welcome.

Reserves

The reserves finished all square against Pettigo in a tense battle with the scores eight points apiece in the final of the Junior B Championship. The replay will now take place this Sunday in MacCumhaill Park, throw in 12pm all support welcome.

U13 Boys

The under 13 boys played yesterday against Gweedore for the last game of the year. Unfortunately, they were beat by 2pts. Score line was 3-8 to Gweedore and 15pts to Red Hughs. Some great stand out performances from the boys they battled hard in second half and where the better team but it was the goals that won the game for Gweedore. The Management would like to thank the boys for their commitment this year and we plan to regroup in a month or 2 to start preparations for next year. The boys are a credit to their families and club.

Development Draw

The club is running a development draw to raise vital funds for the club. All proceeds are in aid of club development and all football teams within the club. First prize is €1000, second prize is €500 and then they are 5 prizes of €100 each. The draw will take place on the 9th of December, tickets will be available through club members shortly.
