Gweedore will meet Naomh Conaill in the Donegal SFC final on October 21 after coasting to a 3-14 to 1-7 victory over Sean Mac Cumhaills yesterday.

Former county star Kevin Cassidy, Eamon Collum and Naoise O Baoill scored the goals as the men from the Gaeltacht qualified for their first county final since 2006, when they defeated St Eunan's.

Strikes from Cassidy and Collum helped them to a nine-point interval lead and it was all over bar the shouting when O Baoill raised a third green flag shortly after the restart. Darren O'Leary pulled a goal back for Mac Cumhaills, but there was no denying Mervyn O'Donnell's charges who will go into the decider against Glenties as favourites.
