Senior men 
Well done to the men who had a brilliant 1:9 to 1:7 victory over Moville in the Junior A Championship quarter final last night in a tight and tense game of football. Red Hughs were fast out the blocks getting the first 4 points of the game without reply and being in total control of the first 15 minutes. Moville then had a purple patch scoring a quickfire goal and 3 points to take the lead. Red Hughs then regained there composure with both teams trading points leaving the halftime score 1:5 to 0:7 to Moville. The big turning point of the game was when Red Hughs scored a brilliantly worked goal straight from the throw in and following it up with a point putting Moville 3 points behind and on the back foot. Moville then rallied scoring the next 2 points bringing it back to a 1 point game but Red Hughs showed great composure in the final ten minutes keeping Moville out when they were desperately looking for the equaliser before Red Hughs sealed the victory with the final point of the game leaving the final score 1:9 to 1:7 to Red Hughs. The boys will hope the experience of this tough game will stand to them in the semi final. We would like to wish a speedy recovery to club stalwart and player Eugene Browne from all the team, club members & supporters
