The Junior A football team progress to the semifinal after their draw with Urris in their final group game of the Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure last weekend. The lads will play the winners of Red Hugh’s/Moville on the weekend of 6/7th October. The Junior B lads season came to an end on Sunday past when they were defeated by St. Mary’s, Convoy. 

 

The U-9 and U-11 girls welcomed Mc Cumhaills to Páirc na nGael for their penultimate game in the series. The girls played out two great games. This weekend they travel to Downings for their last game.

U-13 girls Training continues every Wednesday from 6pm to 7.15pm.

 

The U-8 footballers took part in a blitz at Páirc na nGael on Saturday past with visiting teams from Buncrana, St. Michaels and Ardara taking part also. Special word of thanks to the parents who helped to coordinate and thanks to our Young Whistlers for officiating.

Well done to the U-10 football team who took part in the Gary Doyle Cup at the O’Donnell Park last weekend. Thanks to St. Eunans for the invite and hospitality. The U-13 boys footballers lost out to Red Hugh’s last weekend and will play Glenfin in their final group game of the championship this Friday.

 

Calling traditional musicians, singers, Irish dancers and quizzers! Tá séasúr Scór buailte linn! It's that time of year when we start practising for Scór again. If you are under 17 and interested in taking part please give Bairbre a call on 0894218215.

 

Outdoor Camogie training has now finished for the season and will resume indoors in the coming weeks. New girls welcome and equipment is available to borrow.

 

Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure in Letterkenny are currently stocking Club gear which includes replica jerseys, training tops, jackets, bobble hats, scarfs etc.

 

The Underage football training continues every Sunday from 10.30am at the pitch. All welcome.

 

The U-13’s had a great morning of hurling on Sunday when they traveled to Derry. Firstly they recorded a win against Cuchullain na Ghleanna Ballygawley Tyrone and a second win against the hosts Ballerin GAA Club Derry.

Well done all. Next up is an away game next Sunday in Dungloe. 

U-13 hurling training takes place on Tuesday evenings at Páirc na nGael at 6.30pm.

Underage hurling training continues every Thursday evening at the pitch from 6.30 to 7.30 for U-6 to U-12. Hurls and helmets may be borrowed for new members.
