Comhghairdeas
Congratulations to the Donegal Ladies team on winning the Ulster Final and to our own Siobhan Coyle for her involvement with the team.
Brilliant Naomh Ultan deservedly take the spoils
Naomh Ultan 1-18
Gaeil Fhánada 0-9
A superb performance by Naomh Ultan coupled with a dismal showing by Fanad meant the home side had an easier than expected victory in Dunkineely. Naomh Ultan dominated the game and even when Fanad threatened a comeback they were always kept at arms length. It was an exhibition of scoring from the home side where everything they touched turned to gold while Fanad were wasteful throughout. Alan Lyons was unmarkable inside, Dermot Gallier was a driving force in midfield while Daniel Gallagher was a constant threat from centre half back. For Fanad, Jimmy Coyle battled hard while the returning Seami Nanny had a good hour and hit some lovely scores.
Back to the drawing board for Fanad who simply were nowhere near the pace this evening and looked all over the place at times.
Our reserves also let a 6 point lead slip with 5 minutes to go to end up sharing the points with Naomh Ultan. Tony McBride and the returning Eoin Walsh were impressive while veteran James Martin was solid too. 1992 all Ireland winner Martin Shovlin hit the equalizer with the outside of his boot for a score worthy of the entrance fee alone. Conor McConigley and Declan Coyle also hit some tidy points in the first half.

Another Successful Sports Day
We would like to say a massive thank you to all who gave up their time and came out to help us yesterday for the Annual Sports Day. It was another hugely successful day, enjoyed as much by the adults as the children - as our photos show!
Special thanks also to the Credit Union who sponsored the drinks and crisps for the day.
