Kerry and Carlow won today in Division 2A, while Down and Mayo preserved their 100% records in 2B.

At Newbridge, the Kingdom easily defeated Kildare by 1-23 to 0-10, with Brendan O'Leary helping himself to 1-5.

And Carlow also kept themselves in the 2A promotion hunt as goals from Marty Kavanagh, Chris Nolan and James Doyle saw them past 14-man London at Ruislip, 3-23 to 0-15.

In 2B, meanwhile, Mayo and Down defeated Derry and Armagh respectively to maintain their perfect starts.

Danny Toner, Paul Sheehan and Eoghan Sands were the goalscorers at Ballycran, where the Ardsmen inflicted a 3-15 to 0-13 defeat on their neighbours.

Trailing by six points at half time, Mayo outscored Derry by ten points to one in the second half to come away from Celtic Park with a wonderful 0-13 to 0-10 victory, with Keith Higgins to the fore.

In today's other Division 2B game, Wicklow moved clear in third place when goals from Enda Donohue and John Henderson handed them a 2-21 to 0-21 win over Donegal at Aughrim.
