Donegal's Michael Langan

Promising Donegal youngster Michael Langan could be ruled out of his county's Allianz League opener against Kerry.

According to the Donegal Democrat, the St Michael's clubman, who scored 1-6 in a man-of-the-match display for Declan Bonner's team in their McKenna Cup opening round victory over Queen's last week, has suffered a hernia injury.

Langan will definitely miss the remainder of the McKenna Cup campaign and potentially the league clash with the reigning champions in Killarney on Sunday, 28 January.

He joins fellow 2017 Ulster U21 winner Cian Mulligan (quad) on the Donegal injury list.
