House private to family on the morning of the funeral.

Running track fund-raiser

Thanks to the 15 or so club members who braved the elements on Saturday for the successful collection for the new running track / fitness trail at Páirc Aoidh Ruaidh. Particular thanks to the public who donated, many of whom expressed their wish to see the new facility completed. To maintain momentum on gathering the funds to have this facility available early in 2018, a further fund-raiser will take place in Seán Ógs on Friday December 1st. About 20 club members will sell entries for a race night and club members are asked to generate as much support as they can for this venture. Anyone interested in sponsoring one of the 12 races or in taking an advert for the night can make contact with Tom Daly on 087-2390410.

Schools coaching initiative

Well done to Stephen McGurrin, our schools coach on the local coaching initiative organised by the Park / Development Committee who completed his Level 1 Coaching Qualification over past weekend in Armagh. Stephen provides regular coaching sessions in all of the primary schools in our club area.
