Tullaroan (Kilkenny) will face Fr O’Neills (Cork) in the All-Ireland club intermediate hurling championship final after both sides came through their respective semi-finals this afternoon.

It finished 3-20 to 0-14 in favour of Tullaroan over Antrim’s Naomh Eanna at Parnell Park, where Cats legend Tommy Walsh netted goals in each half for the victors.

Walsh’s first came just two minutes into the semi-final clash in the capital, as Tullaroan went on to lead by 1-11 to 0-6 at the break, and his second was registered two shy of the hour mark as the Kilkenny champions finished with 15 to spare.

In Tullamore, 13-man Fr O’Neills of Cork came through a battle with Mayo’s Tooreen to book their final berth on a 0-19 to 1-12 score-line.

The winners led by double scores at half-time (0-10 to 0-5) and had the margin stretched out to six with with eight minutes remaining in spite of having attackers Mark O’Keeffe and Billy Dunne sent off on straight red cards.

Tooreen would net the game's only goal afterwards but the Rebel County champions regrouped from the concession, shooting over points that ensure their place alongside Tullaroan in what promises to be a cracking decider.

Meanwhile, Conahy Shamrocks of Kilkenny are through to the All-Ireland club junior hurling championship final after seeing off Derry's Eoghan Rua on a comfortable 3-18 to 1-12 score-line in Inniskeen. 

The Shamrocks struck all three of their goals in the opening 30 minutes to lead by 3-6 to 0-8 at the break, with veteran Sean Leo McGoldrick having kept the trailing Coleraine side in contention for long stages at Grattan Park.
