Terence McWilliams has stepped down as Slaughtneil football manager after only three months in the role.

The former Ulster Council Games Development manager succeeded Mickey Moran shortly after Slaughtneil's defeat to Nemo Rangers in the All-Ireland club SFC semi-final, but his reign has proved to be shortlived.

It remains to be seen if McWilliams' departure will impact on the Emmet's bid for a five-in-a-row of Derry SFC titles.
