I refuse to accept the argument that we don't have the players to compete." Jaysus if only we could bottle Boylan's optimism and spirit, the man is a legend. I was of a similar opinion to yourself for many years, I always believed we could both challenge and beat Dublin but that was knocked out of me in 2014 and the loss to Westmeath in 2015 was a huge blow to my optimism in Meath football. Renewed optimism will come in the form of improved performances and most importantly improved results, so we'll see how we go over the next few months. We were in a much better place this time last year and look how that turned out. No matter how bad Cork are and they won't be mad despite what the media say a win in cork would represent progress and it is on path for promotion. We will beat Fermanagh and Clare in our last two games. The more I think about the more I feel we will win this game, I thought this was the toughest game of the group from the start. It was posted here early yesterday that there were 4 additions to squad and I would think that there will be lads dropping out to make way for these.
