I think you will find thats the last 4 outings. One league in Newbridge, two championship in Croker and one in Navan. Cant see it going to five though.

Hope that's not the case with joe cause no doubt promotion will be harder without him at full strength

Murof - I stand corrected - 4/4, but look what happened to Kerry v Offaly going for 5 ;)

Seriously - both counties need the win for different reasons, momentum being the main one eg Mhi have Lu afterwards, but that's a whole other post ...
Has Harrington had any game time at all - the injury seemed bad enough last year, it'd great to see him back playing with the club first and see how he's fixed?

Louth isnt the Game after Kildare for Meath, its Galway. Louth is the last game.

Harrington was playing with the Tones last year, his injury was in the earlier part of last year so it seemed to have been cleared by the time the last few group games of the SFC was played.

eoghan harrington had two very bad injuries last year, he broke a finger playing hurling and broke his ankle in a meath training game. he played the semi final of keegan last year. i heard he had a hamstring injury lately but played sunday for the tones and played well i heard at centre back. would be great to see him back playing his best football as he was regarded as one of the best defenders we had apart from 2010 he struggled a bit.. great to have him back

I know we have problems at corner back, but I don't think Harrington is the answer

1110866 At the moment the Kildare forwards couldn't hit the side of the house.
It'd be just like them to start kicking them over from all angles against us!

funny as it seems these things do happen lads

we have beaten the 2 sides that i feel will be relegated...no big shakes there, but i think we can beat Kildare..and wont do morale and confidence any harm

Yes I think he may even be back training with the lads. Heard he played the full game for Nobber in the league the other day and somebody who was at the match told me he kicked about 10 points in it as well. Great to see him on the road to recovery, we wont say no to more strenght and dept in the panel!

Dalton has only ever played a handful of games for Meath but was outstanding the day he was given the task of marking Bernard Brogan in the 2010 O'Bryne Cup. Other than that, I don't see why he has so many supporters. Has he even played for Meath since? He's been on/off injured a lot for Summerhill and to be honest, a lot of the Summerhill defenders are very good. He's a good corner-back but I'd be curious why he has so many fans. The same with Eoin Reilly and Alan Nestor. They will all came from that good minor team in 2006 but very few made the step up to senior.

Dalton has so many fans because he is pure class. He is very consistent with his performance Week in week out.he played for Summerhill last year and was very good.He should definitely start for Meath and he would sort out our corner back problem And he is still Very young

Meath V kildare - Score Prediction

Well with just over a week to go what do you all think the score will be?
MEATH 1-15 KiLDARE 1-11

Just feel that we have the better forwards on this one and we are also helped by mcgeeneys insistence on playing their best scorer in midfield which help us Of course if we don't get ball into our lads they can do very little. But this game is also a chance for bray, reilly, and gilsennan to show we have very pacey forwards and can cope with a fit team.

I'm told Eoin Reilly was very impressive for Ash in the league. His versatility could be his problem, hard to know what his best position is at county level.Would like a see a few sub appearance at least, just to see if he can step up.But a good player to have on the panel.Farrell isn't a bad sub to bring on but would not start him.For a change we don't have many injuries, let's hope this keeps up.If we are full strenght and have most of our key players fit for the championship we are a match for anybody.
