So much to love about that Limerick team and performance, but mainly hard work, playing for each other and never giving up, typified by Shane Dowling. Congrats, well deserved and the Cranberries belting out in Croker the cherry on top.

The Limerick fans should have been allowed their day on the hallowed turf. What a performance and credit to Galway for how they came back but today belongs to Limerick. #2018HurlingFinal

Unreal game yet again. What courage from Galway and the great Joe Canning to fight back from the dead but credit has to go to Limerick for holding out when they must of been thinking is it going to happen again. Limerick enjoy the craic

Limerick beat the last three All-Ireland champions (Galway, Tipperary and Kilkenny), the reigning Munster champions (Cork) and last year's All-Ireland runners-up (Waterford) to win Liam MacCarthy. Worthy champions without a doubt.
