Paudie Foley reckons Wexford team mate Lee Chin is one of the best hurlers in Ireland at the moment.

Speaking to the Irish Daily Star, Foley stated that the development of Chin's game over the past couple of years has been "top class" and also lauded the Faythe Harriers clubman's leadership skills since being made joint-captain by Model boss Davy Fitzgerald.

"I've been there the last three or four years and seen him develop into the athlete that he is now - probably one of the best hurlers in Ireland at the moment and he's showing real leadership this year.

"He's a great person to work with and he drives everyone else on the team. The hurling is 100 per cent there. He would have started off as an athlete.

"His hurling has just developed crazy. His free-taking, his shooting and everything else is top class now. He's worked so hard on that, definitely."
