Corofin bounced back from their shock Galway Senior Division 1 Football League defeat to Killannin last weekend by beating Salthill-Knocknacarra in the same competition yesterday.

County panellist Michael Farragher scored the only goal as the back-to-back All-Ireland club champions ran out 1-15 to 0-11 winners at the Prairie. It was a case of normal service resuming after Corofin’s surprise 1-6 to 1-16 loss to Killanin seven days earlier.

Kevin O’Brien charges are seeking to win a remarkable seven-in-a-row of Galway SFC titles this year.
