will dungannon struggle again this year? They have really went backwards and dont look like challenging again. eire og are still pushing forward but dont think NCC are there yet

on last years displays it will need some turn around for dungannon to make an impact. Hard to see anyone competing with eire og and NCC seem to be the up and coming team, hard to read into it too much with teams playing without county players but will be interesting to see results this weekend.

Could surprise expectations in the non-county player league.

Shamrocks beat Cappagh 3-17- 1-04, good result with a lot of young players getting game time for both teams

Dungannon 1-06 NCC 0-03...
very poor scoring game with Dungannon hitting 28wides!
NCC will look to the return of their star men
not alot to be said about this game

it says a lot actually.. the fact that Dungannon had over 30 scoring chances suggests that NCC where brutal and Dungannon had complete control of the game only for their shooting letting them down! NCC where lucky not to get totally destroyed by the sounds of it.

This week:
Eoghan Ruadh V Cappagh Gaels @ Dungannon 7.45
Eire Og V Naomh Columcille @ Carrickmore 7.45

Wins here for Dungannon and Carrickmore.
Even with handicap of no County men Dungannon should still beat a full Cappagh Gaels team.
Carrickmore should beat NCC easily, without their county men, NCC have a severe lack of scoring forwards.

NCC where never in any threat of being hammered last friday night. having over 30shots and only scoring 7of them isnt much to shout about! NCC will look to bounce back with a win over a weakened eire og. Dungannon will more than likely to win too but will prob need to have a +100 shots to clock up a half descent score against a weak team. I still believe it will between eire og or ncc for the league.

but having 6 and scoring 3 makes NCC one of the favourites?? Fail to see your logic 1stRoundexit

In fairness if NCC score more than 5 points tonight I'll be very surprised.

Are you sure about that? As far as I know the first four games without county players is a sort of league cup competition and then the last 4 games determine the championship seedings when all county players are back.

Correct. First four games without County players are classed as a separate competition with a cup for winners. Next four games are the Senior League proper with Championship seedings being decided by placings in league.

great win for NCC last night. last weeks result looks like a one off and really look the part now! a shame cappagh could full fill their game, a full squad could have cause DGN problems

disappointed the game was called off last night, Cappagh must be struggling for numbers without all their county men. Eyes will turn to the Na Seamróg v Eoghain Ruadh game as they look to keep a 100% record

Good win against Carrickmore, have to say I am surprised. Cappagh won't cause any teams problems, bit disappointing they couldn't field, I do expect them to have a team for their home game with Carrickmore this week. Dungannon go to strabane, not an easy game.
