Not running Fintona down, but I saw them in their first match and if Dregish had have taken their chances the game would have been long over after 10 minutes of the second half. A fairly good team, but upper mid-table for me.

Could disagree more on this. Fintona were cruising in the first 10 minutes of the game and took their foot off the pedal, which allowed Dregish back into the game. Dregish came out in the second half like all Dregish teams in the past, up for the fight... but they had a 10 minute burst and they were finished. Fintona were through 4 times on goal in the last 10 minutes but opted for points for reasons unknown.

This Fintona team are turning round from a disappoint year last year and should be competing for promotion this year.

Only_1_Tyrone...Fair play to you. That is the great thing about sport...two people can watch the same match from different perspectives and give a different analysis. I notice that you didn't disagree with my opinion as to where Fintona will finish!!

westtyroneman... does competing for promotion this year not mean in the top 4 positions???

Just my opinion at the end of the day..

Aghaloo v Brocagh - Aghaloo by 2-5 points - If Stevie Donnelly plays this is a home victory but if he doesnt Brocagh should sneak it by a point or two. Brocagh are not as strong as last year, alot of fall outs in the team and a couple of their better established players have moved to Oz which will hurt them. Cant see either team getting up this season as Aghaloo rely too heavily on Stevie Donnelly for scores & as we have seen in the last couple of games if he is injured they struggle to win. Brocagh are & always will be could have should have would have team.
Castlederg v Killyman - Killyman by 5+ points - Killyman will be there come the end of the year even though they are an aging team. Castlederg are still rebuilding & will be near the foot of the table again this year.
Drumragh v Dungannon - Dungannon by 5+ points - Dungannon are a young talented team and will be hurting from the play off agony last year. They are a real threat to be promoted this year. Drumragh are a strong team at home, very physical but they dont pose a good forward unit that will threaten teams this year.
Errigal C v Dregish - Dregish by 1/2 - Dregish have started well and usually do. Errigal have lost a few players to migration and arent the team they were last year. Cant see either team challenging come September unfortunately and will settle for mid table at best.
Fintona v Clogher - Fintona by 3+ points - Both teams off to a flier but i think home advantage will count & relying on a 18 year old for your scores isnt a great sign. Clogher are a renowed great starter to the league but will fall away. Fintona will improve from last season but i think a Play off place is a realistic target especiallly as they are still heavily relying on sparky.
Glenelly v Brackaville - Brackaville by 5+ points - Glenelly is never easy to go to but Brackaville are flying and a dark horse for the championship or league. They have some quality players but just need to keep their feet on the groud and keep playing as a team. Glenelly will give any team bother at home but just havent the quality through their team.
N'stewart v Beragh - NTS by 7+ points - Beragh had a nice victory last week but still a rebuilding like so many other teams and will not win many games this season. NTS have only came down and like Killyman will be there abouts come September.
Owen Roes v Tattyreagh - Tattyreagh by 5+ points - Owen Roes have a very young team but will be out of this divison in 3 years have great potential throighout their team & their youth teams are picking up trophies. Tattyreagh are a better team that their first 3 results suggest. Think Owen Roes could get the back lash this week.

What happened nts...were they missing players or something? Brackaville seem to be the team to watch?

Newtownstewart were not missing any players..... it was a great game which Beragh were the better team throughout. Martin Rodgers had a great game along with the likes of beraghs number 7 and their number 6. Beragh should do well this year and could give the championship a good run. As for newtownstewart well its obvious they should be in it until the end of the league however they rely to much on the young mayse to get all their scores.

Was at the Brocagh game at wkend!! Think its safe to say that they wont be round the top of the league as they are losing too many games! Although wudnt count them out of championship as we've seen from last year anyone could win it!!

Very open this year and I don't think it will be the same as last year when droppin 3/4 points meant you lost the league. Brackaville will have to get results against the big teams and if they do then their good start could mean a lot come crunch time. Big game this weekend between Dungannon and Aghaloo, could set the tone for both teams as they progress in the league...thoughts?

Was at the Fintona and Clogher game on Sunday, a long delay after 15mins during the game seen a nasty neck injury to cloghers number 10 and in the second half the clogher full forward got his two front teeth knocked out by a punch to the face when the ball was at the other end of the pitch. Was a disgrace to see. However even though it was a feisty game, Clogher knocked about 15 wides but still deserved to win, with fintona only getting one score in the second half. Both teams will end mid table i think. Predictions this week?
