GAA fans took to Twitter last night to praise the ‘Passing it on: Ballymun Kickhams’ documentary which aired on RTÉ for the first time.
Having previously been shown on eirSport, the doc looks at how former Dublin star Paddy Christie helped to transform lives around Ballymun through his work with the local Kickhams club.
Viewers had this to say about the programme after watching last night:
Passing is on with @BallymunGAA on @RTEOne was brilliant. Well done @PhillyMcMahon and co. Paddy Christie is some man ππ

Great @rte tv doc on #ballymunkickhams. It would make one lonesome as a Dublin exile for my own home club in Galway @Meelicke —like Ballymun, good people working hard for club & community as coaches, players, administrators, parents, helpers of all sort. Same all over the country
