Mickey Harte is playing the waiting game when it comes to injured trio Richie Donnelly, Padraig Hampsey and Kieran McGeary ahead of Saturday’s qualifier clash with Kildare.

Donnelly and Hampsey missed last weekend’s win over Longford while McGeary sustained a blow to the stomach during the 2-15 to 1-14 success over the Midlanders.

Speaking to the Ulster Herald, the Red Hands boss revealed: “We will be hopeful but we don’t really know as yet.

“We will leave the final decision to the medics and the lads themselves to see how they are.”

Throw-in at Newbridge is timed for 5pm on Saturday and the game will be broadcast live on Sky.
