Connor McAliskey is expected to be fit for the opening round of Tyrone’s Allianz FL Division 1 campaign in the new year.

The Irish Independent reports that the ankle injury that the Red Hands’ top scorer suffered in a club game last Sunday is not as serious as first feared.

The Clonoe clubman dislocated his ankle but should be available for selection when Mickey Harte’s side make the trip to Kerry for their league opener in late January.
