Lights go out on Tipp inter-firms final

A power outrage resulted in the postponement of the Tipperary inter-firms hurling final on Wednesday night.
The final between holders Nenagh company Carey Glass and Tipperary ETB (Educational Training Board) was due to take place in Borrisoleigh, but will now be played at a later date.
Tipperary ETB are aiming for a double after captain Stephen Buckley inspired them to a 0-13 to 0-7 victory over Clonmel-based Boston Scientific in the Tipperary inter-firms football final last week.
