There was action in three of the provinces this afternoon.

Connacht took a break this weekend, but we still had seven games to look forward to in hurling and football.

Some say the GAA season is only up and running when the Munster SHC starts and today, there were two games down for decision.

The Leinster SHC continued with two more games, while Joe McDonagh and Christy Ring Cup fixtures rounded off our hurling for the day.

In football, attention was all on Ulster and what a cracker we had in store.
