High profile personalities from across the sporting world gathered in Cork City Hall last night to pay tribute to legendary Cork GAA doctor Con Murphy.
Murphy’s association with the Rebel County gaelic football and hurling team spans four decades and he has been involved with 12 All-Ireland winning senior teams.
The event was organised by Cairde Chorcai and monies raised go to Cork GAA and the Cork Simon Community.
What a tremendous night was had in City Hall celebrating the contribution @drconmurphy has made to @OfficialCorkGAA and more throughout his career. He is more than a doctor to many, he is a friend to all. Thanks Doc! pic.twitter.com/WUROKluMAR

Well done to all in @cairdechorcai for the fantastic #DrConTribute night. It was great to hear so many people from different counties and sporting backgrounds speak so warmly of Con, but also it was fantastic to hear some great stories from Con himself. Well done to all involved.
