John Small and Brian Ó Beaglaoích are facing bans arising from the melee which broke out at the end of last Saturday's Allianz Football League clash between Dublin and Kerry in Tralee.

After reviewing TV footage of the incident, the Central Competition Controls Committee has recommended one-match suspensions for both players, with Small's ban set to be doubled as it was his second Category 3 offence within 48 weeks. He was red-carded in last year's Leinster final win over Laois.

It's believed that Kerry have accepted Ó Beaglaoích's ban, which means he will miss next weekend's trip to Galway. And unless Dublin appeal Small's suspension to the Cental Hearings Committee, he will sit out the upcoming games against Mayo and Roscommon.
