New Laois hurling manager Eddie Brennan will go up against his selector Tommy Fitzgerald in the Leinster club IHC final on December 1.
Forty-year-old Brennan scored 1-1 from play for Graigue-Ballycallan in their 2-22 to 1-12 provincial semi-final over St Mogue's, Fethard today, while Fitzgerald hit 1-2 for Portlaoise in their 3-12 to 2-11 defeat of Offaly's Ballinamere in the other last four-tie.
Brennan and Sean Ryan netted in as many minutes in a game that saw the Kilkenny and Wexford champions both finish with 14 men.
At O'Moore Park, goals from Cian Taylor, Fitzgerald and Cathal Duggan helped Portlaoise to victory over a Ballinamere side for whom Brian Duignan - son of former Offaly star Michael - bagged 1-6.
The final has been fixed for Nowlan Park.
