This afternoon's Louth SFC and MFC finals have been postponed after the Gaelic Grounds failed a pitch inspection.

The county grounds at Drogheda was deemed unplayable this morning following overnight rain.

Holders Newtown Blues and Naomh Mairtin were due to meet in a repeat of last year's senior decider.

Louth GAA took the decision to call off the games "in the interest of players and supporters."
