Meath V Mayo

Same team named but would expect a few changes before start. If not, what does it say to rest of panel, missing 8/10 players and your still not considered good enough to be given a chance to replace lads who have played poorly over two games.

Lads can we get a few chant suggestions for tomorrow? I think it's important we become the 16th man. Turn Navan into a fortress. Mayo will not like that.
Let's turn up in our numbers. Sing til your hearts content. Come on Meath

No, i've been around to see the good days of meath football. Used to love getting the chants going. Want to see it come back to Meath football. We need to deliver off the field. Be the 16th man. Let our voices be heard.

"You've taken our land, you've taken our laa-ah-and , you've taken our land but you'll never take Sam"

To tune of that popular English soccer chant (Adebayor chant).

Go for it.

We should chant this when hurricane Ciara is blowing with us and Andy has them going sideways and backwards .
Injures or not it was Pathetic stuff last week to say the least it's bad when you have westmeath and offaly people slagging of Meath and you have to agree with them .

Hoping for a big performance today from Meath, our whole season could hinge on today's outcome.
We need to stop the rot of this losing habit - we have lost 6 of past 7 Champ & League games, by average margin of 9 pts.
A win today against a top-4 team, heading into the break, with key players to return, would be a massive boost for us.
If we can bring more of a cutting edge to our game and a bit more smarts in game management, I think we can get over the line. Also (Storm) Ciara could be our key player today. Hopefully we can play with the gale in the 1st half , use it better than last week and build up a lead, then hang on for dear life in 2nd half, to ensure we keep our quota ;-)
Come on Meath!!

On the plus side the wind today could turn shooting into a bit of a lottery this possibly increasing our conversion rate...

A total disgrace that any player or fan would be asked to turn out in the middle of a storm.
