Seamus played football with Ballinlough during the 1960's. Later he was to serve the club in a number of official capacities, including that of Chairman. Seamus was highly involved in the upkeep of the Ballinlough pitch and amenities. A farmer and a great fund raiser for Ballinlough, he and his family remained big supporters of the club
