Formerly of Hill of Down, Eamonn was a keen follower of Gaelic games and celebrated with great pride so many of Meath's footballing achievements down through the years. Former Meath manager Sean Boylan was one of his heroes and a close friend. Eamonn played an active role in his beloved Clonard GAA club and was passionate in promoting its success both on and off the field.
