Joan was the wife of the late Harry Campbell. Harry's family provided loyal service to the Drumbaragh club. He captained the amalgamated side Gaeil Colmcille to Keegan Cup success. Joan's brother-in-law Miceal Campbell was coach/manager of the Meath team which reached the 1970 All-Ireland decider.
