Boylan, Eddie

Eddie, who passed away in August, lived in Finglas, Dublin most of his life. He was a native of Philipstown, Crossakiel and a brother of Breege Gaughran. Breege's husband Gerry was a former player and a successful chairman of the Ballinlough club. Eddie regularly arranged matches with his adopted club, Erins's Isle and his native Ballinlough. He maintained a great interest in the fortunes of the north Meath unit and those of the Meath footballers.  Eddie Boylan was also a steward in Croke park on big match days
