Eileen and both sides of her family - namely the Browne's and the Farnan's - are steeped in all the activities of Skryne GFC. Her husband Tom played at both underage and adult for the club while her nephews Paddy, Gerry, Christy, Martin and Declan have all won Championship medals in various grades for Skryne. Declan captained the Blues when they won the Keegan Cup in 1992 and his brother Paddy was also a member of that panel.
