We pick our team of the week from the All-Ireland ladies finals which saw Dublin, Tyrone and Limerick all claim glory.

1. Ciara Trant (Dublin)

There was nothing the Dublin number one could do about Aine O’Sullivan’s first-half goal and she didn’t put a foot wrong throughout.

2. Emma Mulgrew (Tyrone)

Mulgrew and her Tyrone team-mates made up for the disappointment of 12 months ago when lowering Meath’s colours in the intermediate decider. 

3. Leah Caffrey (Dublin)

The Na Fianna player produced a solid performance in the heart of the defence as the Jackies secured a ground-breaking two-in-a-row.

4. Martha Byrne (Dublin)

The tight-marking Byrne and her defensive colleagues made life extremely difficult for the Cork forward division.

5. Sinead Goldrick (Dublin)

Goldrick’s commitment to the Dublin cause was very much in evidence as she proved to be the rock on which many a Cork attack perished.

6. Niamh Ryan (Limerick)

After winning an All-Ireland intermediate camogie medal four years ago, Ryan switched codes and played a pivotal role in restricting Louth to three points from play in the junior showpiece.

7. Marie O’Callaghan (Cork)

O’Callaghan’s frequent forays into enemy territory caused plenty of problems for Dublin’s defence.

8. Neamh Woods (Tyrone)

A brace of goals from the hard-working Red Hands captain helped to sow the seeds for their nine-point success over Meath. 

9. Aine O’Sullivan (Cork)

No finger of blame for the Rebelettes’ defeat can be pointed in the direction of the combative midfielder who scored her team’s goal.

10. Carla Rowe (Dublin)

Rowe was coolness personified when it came to dispatching her two goals to the back of the Cork net.

11. Ciara O’Sullivan (Cork)

The Cork captain couldn’t be faulted for effort but they were beaten by the better team on the day.

12. Lyndsey Davey (Dublin)

When the game was very much in the melting pot, Davey provided the leadership that helped to get the Sky Blues over the finishing line with their noses in front.

13. Sinead Aherne (Dublin)

The Dublin captain finished as the final’s top scorer with a return of 1-7 – 0-3 of which came from general play.

14. Eimear Scally (Cork)

The energetic Scally refused to drop the head and her purposeful running kept the Dublin rearguard on its toes. 

15. Rebecca Delee (Limerick)

Limerick hit Louth for five goals and Delee accounted for two of those as well as a point for good measure.
