2 points from a win over drumrielly

I honestly don't know why the county board organise games of a bank holiday Monday

How is any club expected to field a team especially after Easter Sunday night in carrick

Common sense says you don't fix senior games for a bhMonday

And as for division 5 probably the headline event of the weekend

It's hard to get lads out of a bank holiday weekend and the weather is still very cold

Give it another month and Mary's will be back where we belong

ON TOP

94 quit wit de facade..its desprate..Seeing dat d boys r gonna snooze der way 2 another county title ala SKY we will shift thoughts to d new main event dat being- Relegation challengers in league n championship. Der r a few settin the pace already bt who will cum out n top? U mite no more at dat end?

AND Leteratit? regardin ur "Revelation"... ru serious or tellin porkies? If it is true wudn be surprised! Typical county player elitist thinking! Forgetting about d rest.. Like I know de Junior managers have been crying out 4 a similar rule for sum time nw! Mind u dey do need all d help can gt 4 der sharpshooters!:)>

So who do you see fight a relegation battle in ye league?

I see aughawillan keltubrad and drumrielly bottom 3

And in div 2 carrigallen and Allen geals are struggling from what I gather

Allen Gaels are top of Div 2. St.marys and bornacoola will be relegated from div 2. Allen gaels and there is a few teams could go up with them it will be a tight league for promition. Manor and Mohil will prob be in div 1 final. Eslin will be back in Divsion 2 next year.

Will there be a round of div 4 fixtures the weekend of the leitrim game? Also will the first round of the championship be played in may as stated on the master fixture plan?

Trouble with St Mary's are the old guard are all over the hill with nothing coming on to replace them! Throw in the fact the still think they are a superpower when the have fallen behind everyone bar maybe Kilurbrid in the senior grade. Time for poor old 94 to move with the times only 19yrs behind in his thinking :)

Wel Bors dnt look 2 be in gud shape bt still erly days. Kiltuburd n Drumreilly aswel. Dnt agree bout Marys. Dey wudn be bothered yet..der a champ team n still 1 of only a few actually capable of puttin it up 2 Manor.

So much abuse coming Mary's way here. Being the only "townie" team we can't say we aren't used to it. We will get our sh1t together in time for championship. No point claiming we haven't had poor results so far this year. But there have been positives for us in getting young players games. Further back in this forum page I have seen a lot of abuse in regards being unable to field a minor team. There just are sweet f##k all kids that age in Carrick. It happens every club, some of the smaller clubs that struggle to get 9 a side team out get a 15 a side team every once in a while and the opposite is true for the larger clubs. They won the minor championship back in 2010, not a million years ago, and that group of players are coming through, it's not easy to slip straight into the Mary's senior team at nineteen years of age. We will be back come May.

Well said premium rashers even 21 year olds get it hard to fill boots along side coniffe guckain or either of the lowes

And don't forget butler and the rest of the first team in Australia

I don't think it was 19 villa town I think it was a goal

Make sure the house is in order before the relegation battle

And please do fill us in on this multy county amalgamation going on the Cavan side of Leitrim

Now lads no need to get the thong in a twist! We all don't like your own clubs getting a kicking but its a fact of life! Once ye have all yer ducks in a row then ye can talk. At times theres a enough manure to cover all the medows in Ireland on this forum and I know i'm not immuned to it either. Don't let bias or jealousy cloud the facts. I want to finish up by making a point of would it kill the local paper to cover a league game at the weekends or at least get the facts right.

I feel that drumreilly are a sure thing to go down this year, they've been hanging around like a bad smell for the last few tears and they're lucky every year, refs are always far too easy on them..they don't generally use their best players effectively and with young mcgourty breaking his leg, I can't see any light at the end of the tunnel for the ladds. But that's just my opinion, tell us what ya think

seems that only 3 league games went ahead this weekend. 2 div 4 and 1 div 5. looks like the CCCC are loosing the battle to get these games played. a great weekend weather wise so no pitch could have been unplayable. It reallly is a joke when you see 3 games only being played.
