Laois GAA begin the search for a new senior hurling manager this week.

Following Eamonn Kelly's decision to step down from his position after their Joe McDonagh Cup campaign came to an end, the Laois County Board must now find a successor.

Kelly completed two years in the job, but having just avoided relegation to the Christy Ring Cup for next year, the Tipperary native decided to call time on his position.

A committee has been established to find a replacement and anyone interested in applying for the job should contact the county board.

It is also likely that the committee will approach a number of potential candidates to see if they are interested in the role.

With the Laois senior hurling championship starting on July 19th, it is hoped that the committee will have a new manager in place around that time.
