Armagh ladies football star Caroline O'Hanlon was to the fore as the Northern Ireland netball team booked their place in next year's World Cup finals at the weekend.

A 57-42 victory over Wales in Perth, Scotland secured Northern Ireland's qualification for Liverpool 2019.

O'Hanlon, who captained the North, could be back in action for Armagh next Sunday when they open their National League Division 2 campaign at home to reigning All-Ireland intermediate champions Tipperary.
