Over 400 current and former GAA players slept rough last night to raise awareness and funds for homelessness.
Eamon Fennell, Michael Darragh McAuley, Brendan Maher, Valerie Mulcahy and Sinead Finnegan were among those who took part in the nationwide sleep-out between 6pm and 6am. The 'Gaelic Voices for Change' event was held in 13 cites and towns, while there were also sleep-outs in New York, Boston and Quebec.
Not a night I'll forget. GAA at its best driving this campaign. Life put into perspective. Homeslessness in Ireland is a political issue that needs addressed. Good team bonding anyway #saffs #Solidaritysleepout pic.twitter.com/BgSQMhXanH

As we leave to go home to our warm beds, this is the reality we leave behind.
