The O'Byrne Cup final between Westmeath and Meath which was postponed yesterday due to a waterlogged pitch in Portlaoise has been re-fixed for Cusack Park, Mullingar on Sunday, 18 February (throw-in 2pm).
The choice of O'Moore Park as the original venue for the neighbourly decider caused a bit of a stir last week with both counties requesting that the game be switched to Mullingar (Pairc Tailteann was due to host an All-Ireland JHC semi-final).
Westmeath and Meath will also meet in the Allianz Hurling League at St Loman's Park, Trim on the same day next month.
