Ballyboden St Enda's found their goal-scoring touch this evening as they saw off Raheny by 4-6 to 1-9 in Round 2 of the Dublin senior football championship.

The winners struck three majors in the opening 28 minutes via Darren O'Reilly, Ryan Basquel and Alan Flood to storm into a commanding 3-3 to 0-5 lead before Raheny rattled off a quick 1-1 in the run up to half-time.

Eoin Keogh provided the white flag and Aran Kelly palmed home the goal for the trailers but three of those points would be erased early in the restart when Dublin forward Colm Basquel struck the fourth goal for 'Boden.

There was no coming back for Raheny after that and the winners could even afford to have Michael Darragh MacAuley sent off on a second yellow card with six minutes to go.

In the later game at Parnell Park, seven-time champions Kilmacud Crokes edged a thrilling encounter against Oliver Plunketts to pick up their second win of the campaign on a 2-15 to 0-17 score-line.

Shane Horan supplied both goals for the victors while ace attacker Paul Mannion weighed in with 0-5 against a Plunketts side which lost Alan Brogan to injury five minutes in.

In the senior 2 championship, Cuala produced an impressive second-half display to down Whitehall Colmcille by 5-15 to 0-9, having led by just three points at the break at O'Toole Park.
