Cian O'Sullivan is set to be fit for Dublin's All-Ireland SFC final showdown with Tyrone on September 2.

O'Sullivan was withdrawn with a hamstring injury just 26 minutes into the Dubs' semi-final victory over Galway last Saturday evening and was the only concern for manager Jim Gavin ahead of his team's fourth consecutive Sam Maguire Cup decider.

However, speaking to GAA.ie earlier today, Gavin confirmed that the outlook is very positive over the experienced Kilmacud Crokes defender whom he expects to return to training next week.

"Yeah, thankfully everything is good there, so he'll be back training with us next week," Gavin stated.

On the headache of picking a starting 15 for the clash with the Red Hands, he added: "We're fortunate that we've a group of players that are doing their best for their team, and have shown incredible attitude and incredible energy in the sessions that we have with them. They're all vying for game-time and for squad time."
