Dublin football boss Jim Gavin was in Kilkenny yesterday to give a coaching session to the county's football development squad.
Football has always been the poor relation in the hurling-mad county, but the four-time All-Ireland winning manager's visit to the MW Hire Training Centre in Dunmore could inspire more Kilkenny youngsters to take up the big ball code.
