Limerick manager John Kiely is looking for a new selector after Jimmy Quilty vacated his role.

The Blackrock clubman was part of Kiely's management when Limerick won All-Ireland U21 and senior titles in 2015 and 2018 respectively.

"Jimmy Quilty confirmed he has left the senior hurling set-up for 2019," Limerick secretary Mike O'Riordan said in a statement.

"We would like thank Jimmy for his service to the county and his massive contribution to the two All-Ireland successes."

Meanwhile, the Limerick hurlers received their All-Ireland medals at a glitzy ceremony in the JP McManus-owned Adare Manor last night.
