All-Ireland Club JFC: Red Hughs find that bit extra

Red Hughs (Donegal) are through to the last four of the All-Ireland Club JFC after securing an extra-time quarter-final victory over Dunedin Connollys of Scotland today.

Played at O’Donnell Park, the home side prevailed on a scoreline of 3-11 to 1-15 after substitute Shane Gallagher struck for their decisive third goal late in the second period of extra-time.

James Carlin and Stephen McMenamin also raised green flags for the winners – who now advance to a semi-final meeting with Easkey of Sligo in January – while Sean Malee top scored for the Edinburgh club with 1-4.
