congratulations on your Ulster title last night - thought the game changed when we conceded 1.01 in the couple of minutes before HT - at 7 each iwas happy enough and thought we were doing well and were still well in the game - however it all badly unravelled for us in the second half and i was bitterly disappointed - i never thought we would win this game but hoped we could keep the scoreline respectable - Bad times for Derry football - it was a long drive home - Good luck against the Dubs on Sat - The powers that be need to start treating this competition with a bit more respect - 3 games in 11 day is ridiculous and they talk about player burn out - the Dubs are well rested after their leinster title victory over Offaly - its not fair on yous boys

Lads congrats on your win yesterday we were truly awful but thats not taking anything away from your performance - Down have built on their victory against Meath last week and have got a bit of confidence back and it showed yesterday as they had a bit of that Down swagger back at times yesterday - i was sitting beside a Down man yesterday and he was telling me some fella called Cathal someone i think he said his name was was brought into the management set up this year along side E Burns and that he had experience in colleges/ siegersons football - he was very praiseworthy of this fella and said he had made a difference to the management set up just wondering whaat his name was - Good luck in the rest of your Campaign i think you will be ok from here on out -
