Kilkenny All-Ireland winner Paul Murphy has returned home from the Lebanon with the 115th Infantry Battalion of the United Nations Interim Force.

Murphy departed last November and was due back earlier in the year but his Battalion’s return was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

While in Lebanon the 115th Bn helped raise €5,000 for frontline workers.

The Danesfort man last played for Kilkenny in last year’s All-Ireland final defeat to Tipperary.
