Television viewers will find out how Freddie Flintoff and Jamie Redknapp got on with their ‘A League of Their Own’ hurling challenge tomorrow night (Thursday).
The series finale of the popular Sky programme will feature Kilkenny hurling legend DJ Carey and Wexford All-Ireland winning goalkeeper Damien Fitzhenry.
Cricketer Flintoff and footballer Redknapp were joined by comedian Rob Beckett as Carey introduced them to hurling during the summer.
They took part in a penalty challenge facing Fitzhenry at half-time of the Kilkenny and Wexford championship clash at Nowlan Park in front of 20,000 spectators.
