Clare manager Colm Collins has revealed that he would have no problem with the Munster SFC semi-final against Kerry at Cusack Park, Ennis brought forward in order to avoid a clash with the Champions League final.

Kerry chairman Tim Murphy has already stated that they will not be seeking a change to the start time of the fixture on Saturday June 1st.

The Munster semi-final is due to throw in at 7pm, while the Champions League final begins at 8pm and Collins told the Kerryman that he wouldn’t have an issue with their game starting an hour earlier.

“I wouldn’t have a problem or issue with it if it was moved forward,” said Collins. “If it was moved to 6pm it would free it up. I think it would be the common sense thing to do. Most people that follow sport follow all sports, so it would only be the sensible thing to do.”
